Island flavor is expertly crafted daily by the chef, taking the form of tempting seafood platters, perhaps the best clam chowder known to exist on the island, barbecue shrimp and other "shore" delights.

Crabby Mike's chef/owner brings to the table more than 22 years culinary experience. The last eight years of his culinary career have been spent as an executive chef in Atlanta, Georgia. That being said, Chef Doug knows god food and how to prepare it. His talent makes Crabby Mike's well-known on the island, especially for outstanding homemade soups and sauces.

The island restaurant's $5 and $7 lunch specials invite those with an appetite. Whether coming from work or a morning on the beach, you'll enjoy Crabby Mike's BBQ Ribs, Fried Chicken, Corned Beef Reubens and Grilled Chicken Caesar. Chef Doug's incredible Clam Chowder is also featured along with a delicious salad bar, the only one on Topsail Island.

Chef Doug creates his nightly dinner specials using fresh seafood, steaks and chicken. One of the most requested entrees is the Prime Rib, served only on Saturday nights, and Crabby Mike's seafood platter. Chef Doug also offers a nightly chef's pasta special which is very popular with restaurant guests. But before the enticing entrees, diners are always tempted by unique appetizers such as Crabby Mike's Crab Cakes, Sweet Corn Nuggets, BBQ Shrimp and rich Crabby Spinach Dip. After dinner, let your spoon take a delightful dip in Crabby Mike's warm Apple Turnovers with Ice Cream. Favorite beers and wines are also offered to complement dinner selections.
