Priscilla Livingston prides herself on being a pioneer in bringing wines from across the world to the Crystal Coast. Her extensive travel, education and experience allow her to share the world of wine with her customers. From wines not available in stores to those produced from sustainable farming, Priscilla’s Crystal Coast Wines offers a host of selections including organic wines that are more healthful both in process and consumption.

As a small business owner, Livingston notes, “We are all about supporting the locals.” Actively involved with the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce, one of her primary goals is being an educator and working locally to provide knowledge of and experience with wonderful quality wines. Networking with Carteret Community College, Livingston teaches a wine appreciation course twice a year where she seeks to help others become more comfortable with wine and provide exposure to the great varietals available on the market. She strives to create an experience that eliminates intimidation and removes the stereotype that all quality wine is expensive.

With a concentrated focus on having a friendly, knowledgeable staff providing outstanding customer service, Priscilla’s Crystal Coast Wines has more than 1400 wines in stock, and 400 under the price of $12. Services include wines to go and at-your-door delivery options. The store also offers a wide selection of gourmet foods including chocolates, cheeses and more.

Priscilla’s also offers wine tastings, both public and personalized. The ever-popular First Friday event from 6 – 7:30pm the first Friday of each month, features a sampling of five wines for free and is a fabulous way to kick off an evening with friends or to have a pre-dinner tasting. Keep an eye out for specialized tastings and presenters that emerge frequently throughout the year. For a more intimate setting, Priscilla’s offers off-site tastings, including homes and event locations, to accommodate any special occasion.

Speaking of limitless, Priscilla’s offers a growing focus and selection of import beers and microbrews.
